OUR STORY
South Run Designs is named for our family’s legacy farm here in Northern Fauquier County, Virginia. Our roots run deep as this little slice of rural paradise has been home, to generations of Thorpe family members, since the late 1700’s. The original family farmhouse stands today with its lovely hand-hewn log center sections as a testament to our heritage. My heritage is documented to my 10th great-grandfather arriving by the Mayflower and settling in Rappahannock County in the 1620's. My love for this area, as well as passion for building, have led me to collaborate with other families to build their legacy homes. We appreciate every home building opportunity!
